Your app seems really handy, but when using it in docker I get multiple errors about not having the correct dotnet core version.

Would you care to give it an update? or should we just clone it and create our own?

This has been developed very long ago is now deprecated. Instead I would recommend you to have a look at this project: https://github.com/bitcraftCoLtd/GitCommitInfo

Note that this one two has not been used since very long time, so you may still have problems with more recent versions of .NET (Core) and in Docker scenario.
