Random input output error

Sometime, a file or directory becomes inaccessible. Attempt to read throws an input output error. This has only happened when opening a directory in vscode.

Happens more since an update to vscode.

Happens a lot with the .git directory.

Remounting doesn't always resolve the issue.

Going back to symlink mode resolve the issue.
