I tried asking AI for code changes, but pi doesn't seem to startup.

I started the plannotator review session from within a pi session, so pi is starting just fine in the cli. Is there something else to configure for me or is this just a bug?

im on most recent pi update and not seeing anything here. I know they are migrating but was told extensions would still work for now.

I'm using opencode-go and github-copilot as my providers. By default I use opencode-go and kimi-k2.6.

But I just realized that I don't see any model selection in the bottom bar:

Actually, looking at the code, it's fully dynamic. Ill search around and also use opencode go

It actually all works dynamically. I just used my opencode in DeepSeek and kimi, and it worked fine. I'll have to dig further and look for any loose gaps between authentication and whatnot. Otherwise, it just uses your local Pi, so it's weird that it's working locally but not in the app.

@JohannesKlauss are you running plannotator review from the same terminal/shell where their Pi env vars are set? If they're running it from a different context (e.g., VS Code terminal, a different shell profile), OPENCODE_API_KEY might not be in that environment.

I'm running it from ghostty in the same session the code was produced. The opencode go api key is set in the global config somewhere (can't remember off the top of my head and not in reach of my machine right now).

I do use a key rotator extension, though, which auto picks a key at startup. Could this be a problem?

@JohannesKlauss does pi --mode rpc stay alive in a terminal if you run it, or does it immediately exit/close with an error?
