TypeError appears on node, after referenced node is deleted

Just noting for the future, I don't have STR yet but I'm seeing this on a dev site when I try to view a particular node (which may have a Reference view set up on the node view, I don't recall at the moment):

TypeError: Argument 1 passed to node_view() must be an instance of Node, bool given, called in /app/modules/reference/reference.module on line 398 in node_view() (line 1116 of /app/core/modules/node/node.module).

Okay, maybe this page was giving the error because it has a reference field on it and it seems that one of the nodes that was referenced had been deleted but was still associated with the field? (There was no title, just a Nid in the reference field -- but that Nid was non-existent when I tried to load it).

Hm. It sounds like we need to have some better handling for when a node has been deleted.
