Make extension useful on iOS & Android #108
Description
Apple recently announced that cross-browser compatibility would even allow extensions to be used on iOS Safari. I assume, but don’t know, that this might also be possible on Android.
For Type-X, this would probably be slightly more work, to get the UX & implementation working. Questions to answer:
- How would users send font data to their phone?
- Would fonts download from a CDN (e.g. Google Fonts)?
- Would it show font files already on the device?
- Would it be possible to send a local font file (e.g. a WIP font) from the desktop extension to a phone extension? E.g. could this be a way to preview a current font design project in my phone’s Safari browser – not just on my desktop browser?
