App killing status

I am unable to get the location after the app is killed, will it work after the app is killed for both android and ios?

Are you talking about killing the app as in "force quitting" it from the application switcher? That is kinda the point of killing/stoping the main process right? It prevents any app from being able to do anything anymore...

If you are talking about just putting the app into the background, ie. switching to another app or turning off your screen or going to the home screen, etc... then, yes, the point of this sample project is to get "background tracking" working on both iOS and Android.

Actually i wanted to know if i minimize the app and I clear it from cache then it will work ?

I'm sorry, I'm not really sure... what action would you take to "clear it from cache"? Would that be by going to the app switcher and then swiping up on iOS or tapping the "X" button on Android? Thus removing it from the running list of apps? I think that would mean you are actually quitting the app at that point...

So long as the app is still running in the background/foreground it should continue to track your location. If you quit the app, I don't think it will be able to anymore (as with any app, if it's not running, your code can't run either).
