Description
A previous session that was started via the Codex CLI is not displayed in OpenGUI.
This makes OpenGUI feel disconnected from the existing Codex workflow, because sessions created outside the GUI cannot be seen or resumed there.
Observed Behavior
- A session is started using the Codex CLI
- OpenGUI is opened afterward
- The existing Codex session does not appear in the sidebar or session list
- The session cannot be accessed from OpenGUI even though it already exists
Expected Behavior
- OpenGUI should detect and display existing Codex CLI sessions when possible
- Sessions created via the CLI should be visible in the GUI and ideally be resumable there
- The session list should stay in sync across interfaces instead of treating CLI and GUI sessions as separate worlds
Impact
- Breaks continuity between CLI and GUI workflows
- Makes it harder to switch between Codex CLI and OpenGUI
- Creates confusion because users expect existing sessions to be visible regardless of where they were started
Environment
- OpenGUI Desktop Interface
- Provider: Codex
- OS: Linux
