Some animations are no longer rendered after updating from 4.5.1 to 4.5.2

We have a LottieView in our SwiftUI app:

This worked fine with Lottie 4.5.1, but after updating to 4.5.2 some animations are no longer rendered. For example, Fox.lottie.zip fails with the following error:

Failed to load asynchronous Lottie animation with error: Error Domain=NSCocoaErrorDomain Code=260 "The file “Main Scene.json” couldn’t be opened because there is no such file." UserInfo={NSFilePath=/private/var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/08233A35-7626-42EF-BED2-2B4FEA3671BC/tmp/Fox/a/Main Scene.json, NSURL=file:///private/var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/08233A35-7626-42EF-BED2-2B4FEA3671BC/tmp/Fox/a/Main%20Scene.json, NSUnderlyingError=0x12237d9b0 {Error Domain=NSPOSIXErrorDomain Code=2 "No such file or directory"}}

url is an HTTPS URL. The file is downloaded without any issues, but unzipping it seems to fail.

How was this dotLottie file generated?

I see the manifest declares the V2 format:

In the V2 format, the animations are expected to be contained in a directory named a: #2564

I see your dotLottie file instead has a animations direction, like from the V1 format. The fix is to update the dotLottie file to follow either the V1 or V2 format.

@calda I asked our designer to re-generate the file, here's a version that's supposed to conform to the v2 format: Fox_v2.lottie.zip

This file is rendered correctly by Lottie 4.5.2, but not by 4.5.1. Is it possible to generate a file that can be rendered by both 4.5.1 and 4.5.2?

You could manually change the file to follow the V1 dotLottie format. I'm not familiar with all of the details though.

I changed the version in the manifest to 1 in the animation file I shared originally, and it worked with both 4.5.1 and 4.5.2. Thanks for the suggestion!
