Is the PASTE_AFTER_EXECUTION no longer supported in OMC?
Can someone suggest a workaround?

The code has not changed and it may work but the scope of this functionality was always limited. It was meant to be used for contextual menu plug-ins for text selection context as a workaround for missing ability of classic CMs to replace the selected string with something new. It may work as a system service though.
Please describe the workflow and what you would like to achieve so I can try to see if I can get it to work
