https://zero-k.info/Battles/Detail/2422873 At 32:14, Cooolcat launches an Inferno at Godde's base. The targeting circle shows the inferno hitting the base dead-center.

Note that the inferno is actually targeted at the radar-reported position of one of Godde's Krows.
The Inferno aimed at where the Krow was reported on Radar, which is significantly above the actual base. As the Krow was never actually there to begin with and has moved well out of the way since, the missile hits nothing at its original targeted location and continues past it.
When the Inferno does impact the ground, there's almost no overlap between its actual burn radius and its projected burn radius.
Suggested fix: missiles besides Zeno, if ordered to hit a target in the air, should actually target the ground below the targeted unit.
