Can not add official daggerfall game files. Validation Error

After successfully installing Daggerfall Unity Android on my phone and launching for the first time adding of the official game zip file fails with Validation Failed error. Used official DFInstall.zip downloaded from Bethesda server cdnstatic.bethsoft.com/eldersctolls.com/assets/files/tes/extras/DFInstall.zip
Also redownloaded and second attempt and installed on PC Daggerfall Unity to confirm not corrupt.

Yes it works but it was tricky. I installed the new 1.1.1.8 clean and after launch it just went to a black screen. I tried the mod and no mods versions. Then I uninstalled and reinstalled 1.1.1.7. Then when the game loaded I tried to add my Arena2.zip. Again as before it would not validate the game files. Then I did an Update to 1.1.1.8 (mods version) and it worked. After that I pointed it at my Arena2.zip and SUCCESS! Thank you and I hope my install saga will provide useful information for you.

Yeah, thanks for the report! Saw the same behavior on my end when I tried a fresh install. Fixed it in a re-upload of the apks https://github.com/Vwing/daggerfall-unity-android/releases/tag/v1.1.1.8
