Kenan worked as an undergraduate researcher for 1 year (2 semesters and a summer) in Dr. Joel Perlmutter's Neuroimaging Lab at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology.

While there, he discovered a passion for imaging science because of its broad practical applications and its foundation in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics.

He also enjoys programming more broadly as a way to merge creative and analytical skills to solve interesting problems.
