ImageMaker: Image size limitation

Has anyone managed to create images larger than 9000x9000px?

When i create a truly huge image i run into problems. While i do get an image with the specified size, yet only the first (upper&left) 9000x9000 pixel have LGL data, the rest is just background.

Any idea where this limitations come from and maybe even how to work around?

How to reproduce:

mkdir sometmpdir && sometmpdir

java -jar YOUR_PATH/LGL/Java/jar/ImageMaker.jar 18000 18000 1069646562.lgl  1069646562.2D.coords -c ./1069646562.edgecoloir

You need to allocate more memory to Java. I’m with family now but I’ll send you the example tomorrow.

What i tried but hat no effect on the output png was to call java with -Xms20G -Xmx30G ...
