where to download updates

Hello, I have ChickenASM-1.12-1.0.2.7

How would I go about updating this library to the latest one for Minecraft 1.12.2? Or even determining which mod is depending on it?

I'm not sure where you publish binary releases, or if this is intended to be built from source.

ChickenASM is a library shipped inside CodeChickenLib on 1.12.2. There are no updates available for it for 1.12.2.

Why do you want to update it?

I'm not sure how but I have an independent ChickenASM-1.12-1.0.2.7.jar file in my mods folder despite also having CodeChickenLib-1.12.2-3.2.3.358-universal.jar. Am I only supposed to have one of these files? I updated it because it was giving some strange errors on the console log. I previously had to update it because there was some kind of conflict causing the soundphsics mod to crash which replaces the sound engine with a raytracing based sound engine.

Can you please provide your crash log you received?

You should not need to manually install ChickenASM at all, for any reason.
