Deleting clipping planes does not work if the clipping arrow lays under other visible objects. If the plane is moved outside of the model so that the arrow is β€œfree”, deleting works.

This also happens in the Clipper | That Open docs example.

  • move it so that its direction arrow lays behind other objects
  • try deletating the plane
