Custom Basemap Freezes the app

When I turn on a custom basemap the app freezes - after selecting the map I can close the map layers menu modal and that's it. I can't move the map, can't click any button, can't open or close panels - all frozen. Only way to restart is the quit the app and restart

strabo version 2.23.1
ipad pro 4th generation
iOS 18.6.2

I am not experiencing this issue. Everything seems to be working fine on the same model simulator.

Hi @panamint55 this was happening on your iPad. Can you confirm if this is still happening? I wonder if it was a result of GSA network speeds.
