It seems that you are very best programmer for AI. I would recommend you can create complete binary (engine+GUI) so that user can just download (and or extract) and play. Using web version is not bad idea but most of time we work offline so creating standalone or portable game is best and easy for many. I think even Python app can be packed to EXE for deployment with all required libraries packed.
AI plays very well BUT at the end it has no strategy to find goal when there is possible goal. For example if AI has 5 pieces and human has 4 pieces it just continues to play as if it is draw, without winning strategy.
IDEA (for English variant): It should find reduction of pieces to (AI: 2 pieces vs Human: 1 pieces) and then find goal SINCE 2 vs 1 piece in English variant - is calculated that the one with two kings MUST win.
Finally I suggest you can add other 8x8 rules of checkers especially those that are not included in many checkers apps. Wikipedia has anylized all famous variants. THANK YOU.
