While #126 has already decided effective cocongruences for most categories, some categories are not clear yet. For example: Does CMon have effective cocongruences? The answer should be added to CMon.sql. The same for FinGrp. These questions can be answered in separate PRs.
The question for finite groups is a bit delicate since this category does not have coproducts (let alone pushouts). Coproducts in Grp can be used, though.
This issue can also be used to gather mathematical ideas. But we might as well ask at MO.
Related: Mon does not have effective cocongruences (but the current counterexample does not work in the commutative setting). Also, Grp does have effective cocongruences (but the proof has used amalgamated sums, which do not exist in FinGrp). Still, I think that the answers for CMon and FinGrp will be the same.
