Hey all :)
Just wanted to drop a friendly fyi. about the NVIDIA Research Team which recently published cuda-oxide (NVlabs/cuda-oxide), a Rust-based CUDA compiler frontend. I am not raising this as a roadmap ask or anything concrete ... just thought it was worth a look given the obvious overlap in spirit with what amazing work you're doing here. :)
Maybe it could be interesting to see how they're approaching the CUDA IR/codegen side, whether there are any ideas worth borrowing, or at minimum just useful as a point of reference. Might also spark some thoughts on interop or complementary use cases.
Anyway, again, no agenda in mind, just sharing it in case it's useful. Happy to hear if anyone's already looked at it! :)
