Installation guide errors

The "Installation Guide" contains several errors that will make it difficult for users and new contributors to get started. 

The link to "downloading the Package" will lead to a 404 error as well as the installation commands no longer being compatible with the latest software version.

Any suggestions or solutions are greatly appreciated.
