Data update

Is there a mode in DataAccess where I can download only the new data in each of the .csv files ?

Basically the code download the whole file up to today or only download the extra dates up to today and add them to the existing data in the corresponding file ?

This is quite useful when the data provider only keeps a certain amount of data, say 4 years for instance.

I'm working on that for the next release. The problem with this is that the Coursera class that uses this data has to update all assignment solutions because of the price data being updated.

But it should be covered in the next release by creating different data sources for updated data and the coursera class.

Hi Sourah, If you need I implemented something on my side where I use the
file YahooDataPull .

Basically for all the required symbols, I look at which date the
corresponding file was modified. If it was more than one day ago, I
redownload the file. Before downloading again I backup the data so I can
add back old data in the new file if they are not there.
