[Feature Request] Loan and Recurring Payments support

Option for Loan and recurring payments management

Similar to Goals add option to manage Loans and Recurring Payments

How will you/everyone benefit from this feature?

I know you don't intend to make GreenStash as general purpose Finance tracking app.
But just like goals managing Loans and recurring payments will work as complementary to any simple finance tracker.

Additional context

Maybe we can have 3 simple tabs in the bottom with same design and flow for both requested feature as with Goals.

Interesting idea. Come to think of it, loans are very similar to goals, so we could probably reuse most of the existing UI elements with some modifications to implement it. I’ll give it a shot when I have enough time to work on such features. Thanks!

I just have one question: by recurring payment, do you mean subscriptions or something similar? Or do you mean EMI payments? If so, isn’t that basically a loan?

Yes you are right loans are pretty similar to goals and would be an good add-on.
Loans does not need to be exclusively EMI only. User can lend money someone in multiple transactions and similarly collect the same in multiple variable(not same amount) installments. Time of these transactions need not to be fixed.

And by recurring payment can be subscription, EMI or SIP etc.. Basically any/every type of transactions which user pays on regular interval.

Thanks for clarifying, It sounds like a good add-on, though I can’t give any ETA as I’ve been busy with real-life stuff lately. I’ll try to implement it eventually, haha.
