[BUG] Endermen not spawning in reimagend/void

Hello,

I’ve noticed an issue with Enderman spawning in Terra:

In the biome terra:reimagend/reimagend/void, Endermen do not spawn at all, while they do spawn correctly in terra:reimagend/reimagend/main_end_void.
This makes it quite inconvenient for players who want to build Enderman farms in the void.

Do you know why Endermen are disabled or not spawning in terra:reimagend/reimagend/void ?
Is this intentional, and is there any way to change this behavior via configuration so Endermen can spawn there as well?

It is somewhat intentional.

Originally, all void biomes used the vanilla biome "minecraft:void" that doesn't allow for mob spawning.

It was brought up by a player that this stopped enderman farms, so the void around the dragon island had been adjusted for this issue.

Though all void biomes could probably be adjusted to allow for enderman spawning to match with vanilla.

Thanks for the explanation, that makes sense.

I understand the intention, but it’s causing some issues for my players. Is there any way to enable enderman spawns in the Reimagiend/Void biome without having to regenerate the map?

If so, could you provide a short procedure on how to change this manually, or are you considering updating the pack so that all void biomes allow enderman spawning like reimagend/main_end_void ?

You will have to regen the map unfortunately I believe.

I do plan on adjusting the void biomes to allow for enderman spawning whenever I am able to.

If you want to do so yourself, just go to each void biome config file and change minecraft:void to a regular end biome like minecraft:end_barrens
