get teleportet right back to the position i was before when i try to move myself up

so i use a Quest 3 and i am connected via link cable to my PC,i try to use OVR Advanced Settings to move myself up and down in Steam VR,but every time i move myself up or down it teleports me right back on the position i was before when i let go of the button i bindet to drag myself.
Somebody please help

This can be one of a few things.

1. if using Space Calibrator make sure in Space calibrator "auto paste chaperone bounds" is turned off

2. try running SteamVR as admin

one of those should fix the issue.
