Feature Request: handle widget tool selection better.

what id like to see is if you select a widget. you can drag and make more of the same widgets. rather than drag defaulting to text. just make it so that you select a widget and then the cursor drag makes more of that widget selected. and have it so that its obvious which widget is currently active.

so theyd be highlighted in some way to show which one is active.
