Setting SMTP Notifications #545
Description
Brief Description: When testing SMTP server the following message is shown
SMTP Connection Success
errorMessaes.goodSMTPAuthentication
Operating System (OS and version): Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
OpenBazaar version: 1.1.7
Hardware: Raspberry Pi 2B
Reproducible (Always / Almost Always / Sometimes / Rarely / Couldn't Reproduce):
- Enabled SMTP notification in advanced settings from OpenBazaar client connected to Openbazaar server on Raspberry Pi
- Set SMTP Server Address to smtp.gmail.com:25 OR smtp.gmail.com:465 OR smtp.gmail.com:587
- Set SMTP user name to my email
- Set SMTP Password to the one created in Gmail applications Password (I have 2FA enabled)
- Set sender email address to my email
- Set recipient email address to my email
Steps to reproduce:
- click on Test SMTP Server
- Error message Appears
Observed Behavior:
Error message mentioned before
Expected Behavior:
A Successfull message and an test email sent to the recipient.
