"Start Asynchronous Call" was first added in LabVIEW 2011, so we would not be able to support earlier versions of LabVIEW.

Chris had suggested a while back moving libraries up to 2011 (since its the earliest supported version), but yes for right now I don't see a purpose to this.

One thing I discovered worth mentioning is that the build tools are refusing to support anything earlier than 2011. I don't think there is a technical reason for this, as the code is saved in 2010...but there is no way we're going to get AMC into the automated build process unless we upgrade the code at least to 2010. So if we do make any more major changes in the future it might be worth bumping the version.
