FilterSearchField cancel button in Sidebar is unresponsive

Expected behavior

When clicking the cancel (×) button in the Sidebar FilterSearchField, the text inside the search field should be cleared.

Current behavior

Clicking the cancel (×) button in the Sidebar FilterSearchField does nothing (no response, text is not cleared).

Suspected cause

This likely originates from the upstream dependency implementation of FilterSearchField:
