Embeded Content PDF Swipe Left/Right Broken

So in getting the embedded story view put together a sacrifice was made as the prebuilt lib for the ui doesnt let us set up swiping actions without breaking zoom/pan. Will need to find a way to get this back as I imagine someone will want it working at somepoint
