Say you have a photo field, that is mandatory by using the "not null" constraint or a custom expression with a custom "expression description". The message warning that the field cannot be null or that is mandatory shows:
after taking a photo the message disappears as expected
but if the photo is unlinked then the message does not show anymore, leaving the user potentially confused about what field is missing
