Release merge/release unoffical 6.15.1 with updated GUI code for modern MATLABs? #6

Hi,
I got a copy of PLS from Dr. McIntosh in 2021 that had some additional fixes for the GUI for newer MATLABs. Can these changes be merged into this codebase?
