Consider Switching Mappings #2
Description
We are currently using Quilt Mappings in the these experiments.
I already thought of using Official Mojang Mappings, since it would be one step further to multiloader, but Mojmaps has some mapping iusses, and even if ParchmentMC adds comprehensive javadocs in mojmaps, it does not change that some mapping names simply feels wrong.
But it seems that LambdAurora started a new project: Yet Another Light Minecraft Mappings which could be a good solution to solve some issues of Mojmaps, while adding other layers of javadocs.
So the idea would be to layer mappings in that way:
- Quilt Mappings => parameters
- Parchment Mappings => comments
- Mojmaps
- YALMM => Mojmap Patches
