Is `typedef struct _EMC_TELEOP_DATA` useless?

Version 2.9, file src/emc/motion/motion.h, lines 86-91.
I haven't been able to find any reference to it within the rest of the LinuxCNC code.
If the lines containing this typedef are commented out, the code compiles without errors.

If it compiles without it, then it probably is unused.
A further test would be to check that the test-suite runs. (just type "runtests" in the linuxcnc-dev folder, maybe after the , .scripts/rip-environement incantation)
