Hi

After 30 minutes, 190.000 files were loaded, when i'm trying to add an external hard drive
by dragging the hard drive itself onto fast cryptor .. . & i have 350.000 files to encrypt....... .

1. it heats my chipset to hell in an unjustified way.

2. all that process is needless & time consuming, it'd be good to have an option to make
   fast cryptor auto encrypt files inside a hard drive, or even folder, using start button
   without having to load the entire list in its gui..

&, how can i decrypt a bunch of files without keeping original files ?

Hey @xanycloudx

I see what you mean. loading that many files into the GUI first definitely adds unnecessary overhead and resource usage. A command-line interface (CLI) would be a good way to cover your use case: directly encrypting/decrypting drives or folders without listing everything in the GUI, and with options to choose whether or not to keep the originals.

I’ll work on adding CLI support in my free time, which should allow:

1. Auto-encrypting an entire drive or folder directly.
2. Batch decryption/encryption with a flag to remove originals if you want.

That way you won’t have to drag and drop or wait for the GUI to build a file list.
