FastAFM and CV fails when Student ID is of a mixed type

As the title suggests, the FastAFM and CV component fails when both numerical (e.g., 23911) and string-typed (e.g., Stu_f24) student IDs are present.

To reproduce the error, try to run it on ds6160.
