Hi, @KlausLoeffelmann , I am trying to compile and run the RootDesigner demo using the latest designer sdk preview version (1.9.0-preview.3.24054.5), but without success. May I ask why? And does the latest designer sdk preview version (1.9.0-preview.3.24054.5) support RootDesigner?

Hey @changhao6 , quick question — how did you manage to implement custom logic using custom types?

In my case, I’m using a UITypeEditor for a property in a custom control in my project. I’ve some custom logic that relies on custom types defined in the control’s assembly. The issue is that since the UITypeEditor has to be placed in the client project, and the client project doesn’t reference the control library directly, those custom types aren’t accessible.

Do you have any suggestions on how to handle this? Specifically, how can I work with those custom implementations inside the EditValue method of the UITypeEditor? If you’ve got any code examples, that would be super helpful!

@Prem8825 Sorry, recently due to being busy, I haven't had time to make a complete demo. Our products support both .NET and .NET Framework. Therefore, we will convert ObjectProxy to the .NET Framework object in the EditValue method (send request and get response data form server, then convert it to .NET Framework object). Hope this can help you.
