The second command worked for me (didn't try the first), but it might have found my kaggle.json file.

Hi, sorry for this and we are actively working on fix it. For now, as a workaround, please go to the api setting for you account, generate a token, and run export KAGGLE_API_TOKEN=[your_token_here] in the current window.
