When its in tray and you click on shortcut/taskbar, "the application already running" window appears. Why not just show app then?
This is just painful.. can you fix it or give an option to not place app in tray?

When you launch an app via a shortcut, Windows launches a new instance. To do what you want, the existing instance must be listening on a port or some channel, and the launching instance must send a request there so the existing instance can open, after which the launching instance will close.
