(Extra Credit #2 - 5%) Measure speed of parallel operations

Use the Timer class (as in java.awt.event) or System.nanoTime() to measure the speedup of some
parallel operations versus sequential versions of those operations. Of course, the time difference will
be insignificant with small amounts of data. But, it is the exercise that counts.
