@s-paquette we will probably need to create sub-issues for at least some of those - let's discuss and prioritize at the weekly meeting tomorrow!
download button on the right side is getting lost, especially on wide screen - move to the left, next to the cart button
cart View page is not particularly useful - consider removing / down-emphasizing; to be useful, it would need to have some kind of summary view and perhaps same collection/case/study/series table hierarchy
need to make License information more prominent:
move License section in the left panel up and expanded by default
add license information at table row level for each level of hierarchy
triangle icon expanding the next hierarchy level is confusing
consider highlighting the entire row instead of just the button background
consider alternative icons: open/closed folder? open/closed drawer?
improve columns for the hierarchy tables
simplify the summary of total/selected counts by putting those into a single column
review what columns can be added or removed/simplified: add modalities column, shorten UID columns and only show UID on highlight (and keep copy to clipboard)
simplify download options - instead of showing separate buttons for manifest and direct download, show a single button with the dropdown for secondary options - as we do for viewers (and do the same for the download buttons at the cohort filter and cart panels)
Please add anything I missed or mis-stated! Huge thank you, again, to JC and Sam, and also to @pieper for bringing up the topic!
Feedback kindly provided by @sjh26 and @jcfr.
