Hi, most likely your Dell Server/Machine has Secure Boot enabled. Try disabling that in the BIOS menu and try again.

Does that indicate that disabling Secure Boot didn't help? I didn't quite understand your answer. I also use a Dell Machine for my ZimaOS and I've used balenaEtcher for creating the bootable USB.

If maybe you're having troubles with v1.5.4, try out the 1.5.3 from here (you need the .iso I presume)

I am still using 1.5.3 on my server and I haven't updated it since I've installed it from my USB.

If the Boot Menu doesn't recognize the USB then it has nothing to do with your configuration, it's just not bootable to your hardware basic input output settings (BIOS settings). So you might need to dig deeper especially your model name and see what's the issue. If other .iso installations are recognizable with the same USB port, then either your ZimaOS installation (.iso) is corrupted or your BIOS settings do not comply with the image of the USB.

This might sound silly, I don't really know what's your hardware specs of that machine, but can you try installing your ZimaOS outside of the RAID? Also, don't take me for granted, but I've had issues before when the OS was installed on the same RAID where the Media resided. I happened to lose some of the data, it corrupted my OS and I was unable to retrieve most of my Media files.

That's when I decided to keep my OS on my SSD separately of my Media storage and then later I mounted them up using the Web Interface of ZimaOS - it's pretty straightforward from the Settings panel.

If this resolves your issue, then you will be safer as well in the future if something fails up on those disks.

ZimaOS is pretty small and can be installed on small memory SSD, but give it 250GB minimum so it operates freely without any hiccups. Again this depends on the scaling you are planning to have. Choose a storage capacity you will feel comfortable with. On the OS side only the Apps will reside.

On my setup ZimaOS is taking up only 2.5GB System and around 40GB Data (apps, caches, everything else) with around 15 Apps fully functional.

Sorry, cannot guide you that much. You'll have to figure it out by yourself. Maybe take a look for some YouTube video on how to install additional storage and how to install any kind of OS from USB on that system. I'm not that experienced, just wanted to help you out in the first place.
