We want to use

uv run ruff format .
uv run ruff check --fix .

Cross-link for coordination: PR #331 already adds ruff>=0.6 to [dependency-groups].dev in pyproject.toml + regenerates uv.lock. Without that, uv run ruff format . and uv run ruff check --fix . (the exact commands @DhavalRepo18 wants) fail on a fresh uv sync with Failed to spawn: ruff — uvx ruff is the current workaround.

If #331 lands first, @MannXo's format-pass work just needs the two commands above to run cleanly. If MannXo's PR lands first, they'll either bundle the same pyproject.toml line or fall back to uvx. Happy either way — flagging so the two efforts don't accidentally duplicate the dependency line.
