Pointing #7

Description

pointing is about relative size, not absolute size.

This should enable a team to point quickly, and not be focused on accuracy. However, it also creates some opportunities for good discussions.

A couple of things about this, is that it should reduce the need for long discussions. People should size their initial thoughts, and be given an opportunity to ask questions. But it should mean discussions about the size should be had after the team has already pointed.

It also creates an interesting opportunity to compare stories. Today I heard someone say "This story is much more complex than the last one, there is no way we could point these the same size." This wasn't even about comparing similar work, it was about comparing things sized in the same sprint, which is probably a more accurate way of thinking of story points.

Mention the dog size activity.
