Compile a straight clone and suddenly the coarse tune encoder does nothing?

Did I miss something? This hardware was working fine before today (well, it's new to me but it seemed fine before I installed the new firmware).

More information please. What hardware are you using? T41EEE kit?
What version firmware were you using that worked before?
Did you perform a FLASH erase before installing the new version?

T41-EP kit that had been constructed by Michael AK6AR and was working when I bought it from him. Was working on my bench. Was running your code compiled with his callsign (waiting on him to see if he had other changes). Pretty sure it's v11 hardware.

I cannot get the teensy to erase. I press the button and I never see the other led blink red. No matter what I do I can't get it to erase and reset.

To erase the Teensy, you must press the button and hold it for approximately 15 seconds. As soon as the red LED blinks, release the button.

The kit requires a change to the MyConfigurationFile.h. The lines in the file look like this:

#define NORM_ENCODER
//#define FOURSQRP

You need to change the file to look like this:

// ==== Pick one of the following encoder configurations
//#define NORM_ENCODER
#define FOURSQRP

This change will fix the encoder problem. This is required because of a difference in the T41 kit hardware design.
