Describe the feature
This feature request aims to make the oci-sync SHA available as a metric in Metrics Explorer, similar to git-sync. This would allow customers to expose this data in Grafana dashboards to other teams without requiring direct project access. The current limitation prevents the full GitOps paradigm implementation, as the commit label for oci-sync is missing. The customer views metrics as a higher priority than UI availability for this feature
