Translation guide: Workflows combining AI, ML, and human translations

Decolonise Science has a project to use AI, ML, and human translation to translate 180 scientific papers into 6 African languages.

The guide could focus on a short step-by-step guide of the translation workflow for volunteer translation or for other technology providers or developers to assiste the Decolonise Science project.

Topics could be:

• Wikidata indexing
• Weblate and ML / AI automated, combined with human translation - say using the Weblate platform
• What LOD models to use for papers, books, different types of publications, tranlations
