Maybe the 6.3.0 release should be cut? The 6.3.0 branch exists for a very long time and it seems to be stable.

@StefanBruens, would it help to at least tag the current state as a 6.3.0-beta and build packages? @zayenz I think that at this point, not considering the open tickets here, the only thing blocking the release is reviewing the MPG. It would simplify my build scripts for sure as I need builds that exclude Qt (which the public builds include), so that I could reference an existing tag here.
