Critical Blocking BUG — Account Subscription Lost After Email Change #7139

@gtavianicom

Description

@gtavianicom

Can we access your project?

  • I give permission for members of the FlutterFlow team to access and test my project for the sole purpose of investigating this issue.

Current Behavior

After changing the email address associated with an active annual GROWTH plan account, the platform incorrectly downgraded the account to the Free Personal plan.

This caused:

Loss of access to the Team workspace
Loss of access to shared libraries and sub-applications
Inability to work on existing production projects

This is a blocking issue because our team must deliver a production platform developed over the last 6 months within the next few days, and we are currently unable to continue working.

The issue appears to be directly related to the email change process and the incorrect reassignment (or loss) of the active subscription.

Urgent investigation and restoration of the correct subscription and team access are required.

Expected Behavior

Changing the account email from gabriele@drguido.ai to gabriele@gtaviani.com should preserve the active annual GROWTH subscription, Team workspace access, permissions, shared libraries, sub-applications, and all existing production projects without any interruption or downgrade of the account plan.

Steps to Reproduce

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log into the FlutterFlow account associated with the active annual GROWTH subscription using:

    • gabriele@drguido.ai
  2. Open Account Settings and start the email migration/change process from:

    • gabriele@drguido.ai
      to:
    • gabriele@gtaviani.com
  3. Complete the email verification/change process successfully.

  4. Log back into FlutterFlow using the new email address:

    • gabriele@gtaviani.com
  5. After the migration is completed, the following happens:

    • The active annual GROWTH subscription disappears
    • The account is automatically downgraded to the Free Personal plan
    • Access to the Team workspace is lost
    • Shared libraries and sub-applications become inaccessible
    • Existing production projects can no longer be properly accessed or edited because team permissions are removed

Expected Behavior

  • The annual GROWTH subscription should remain attached to the account after the email migration.
  • Team access, permissions, libraries, and projects should remain unchanged.

Actual Behavior

  • The subscription is lost or detached from the migrated account.
  • The platform treats the migrated account as a new Free Personal account.
  • Team/project access is immediately broken after the email change.

Reproducible from Blank

  • The steps to reproduce above start from a blank project.
