FTOP Money is one of the most requested and appreciated features from players. The main issue is that it relies on economy plugins providers, thus making it harder to properly optimize the command.

In our case we have an issue with the command taking 4 seconds to process the top, thus freezing the server heavily.

I would suggest to introduce asynchronous computation for this command, to ensure that main thread won't be affected, despite the plugin used as economy provider.

4 seconds sounds fun! The built-in ftop is a very, very basic implementation. I haven't put much dev time into it as long as other, 3rd party, ftop options existed. But, now that the big update is done, I can investigate some sort of ftop alternative.
