Hi!
I would like to provide a Russian translation for FTB NeoTech.
The translation is almost complete and covers the vast majority of the pack content, including quests, custom tooltips, item names, GUI text, guide/manual texts where applicable, and many mod-specific localization files.
It is not necessarily 100% final yet, and I expect to keep improving it over time as I continue testing the pack in Russian. Some wording may still be adjusted later for consistency and polish, but the current version should already be fully usable for Russian-speaking players.
A significant amount of work was also done to improve consistency across the pack, including terminology for machines, blocks, items, fluids, quest descriptions, and mod-specific concepts. In addition to translating missing content, I also fixed many existing translation issues, awkward phrases, untranslated strings, and inconsistent names.
For several individual mods, I have also submitted translation work upstream via Pull Requests. If those translations are accepted, they may become official and maintained directly by the mod authors in future versions. Until then, the translation can be included in the pack-side resources.
One important note: there are some changes to .md files. These files currently do not support multiple languages in the same way as normal localization files. Because of that, those changes can be excluded from the pack if needed, at least until proper multilingual support for those files is available.
In short:
- Russian translation is almost complete.
- Quest text and pack-specific localization have been translated and reviewed.
- Existing Russian translations were improved and corrected where necessary.
- Some mod translations have been submitted upstream via PRs.
- The translation will likely continue to be improved over time.
.md file changes are optional and can be removed until multilingual support is available for them.
The goal is to make FTB NeoTech much more accessible and enjoyable for Russian-speaking players.
